We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man, that He was conceived and born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and sacrificed Himself to be punished in substitution for sinners. By the blood of His cross and His resurrection from the dead, He obtained for us eternal redemption, the forgiveness of sins, and life everlasting. He was raised bodily and ascended to the right hand of the Father. He will return to the earth personally and visibly to consummate His kingdom. We believe that the Holy Spirit regenerates and forever indwells all Christians.  We believe that we cannot by our own reason, will power or any kind of effort believe in Jesus Christ, but that the Holy Spirit calls us through the Gospel, enlightens us with His gifts, sanctifies us and preserves us in the one Christian faith through the means of grace Scripture has declared which include His Word, Baptism and Holy Communion.

We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.  We teach that no person can be justified by God by their own merits, works, strength, decisions or any human work but we are justified (declared righteous being given by grace the righteousness of Christ) for Christ's sake through faith, when we believe that we are received into God's favor and our sins are forgiven by His death for Christ alone has made satisfaction for our sins.  This faith we believe God imputes for righteousness in His sight.  (Romans 3 and 4)
